[CSG New Energy Plans to Invest in a 2,000 mt/day PV Glass Furnace] CSG New Energy announced that on June 27, 2025, the board of directors approved the investment and construction of a 2,000t/d ultra-thin encapsulation material project for PV modules by its non-wholly-owned subsidiary, Zigong New Energy, for the group's daily operations. The project includes the construction of a 2,000t/d ultra-clear PV rolled glass production line, eight ultra-thin encapsulation material production lines for PV modules, and other supporting facilities, with a total investment of approximately RMB 1.399 billion. This project marks the first furnace in China with a designed capacity of 2,000 mt/day. In recent years, the capacity of individual furnaces in China has gradually increased, with the industry currently transitioning from mainstream 1,200 mt/day furnaces to 1,500 mt/day furnaces.
